Hayze Perham is a fantastic league player but has been playing first fifteen rugby for Rotorua Boys all year.
Hopefully this encourages him to stuck with league.

He's another one of those young players who will have a decision to make over his playing future.

Signed by Penrith but has played for the Chiefs u18s this year.

It's a dream come true for 17-year-old Wipere Takitimu, who has signed with the Canberra Raiders U20 NRL club.

The Manukura School student has previously trained with the Gold Coast Titans, and has been highlighted as a player to watch by the rugby league club.

Takitimu said he was "excited" about the signing. "It's been my dream,' he told Te Kāea news.

Wipere has also been a notable rugby league player at local level in the Kia Ora Warriors and the Manawatu Mustangs, playing fullback, which Kia Ora committee member Peter Butler says suits his athleticism.

Big loss; has been in the system for some time now and heady second rower/13. Why Pocklington didn't use him this year's a mystery when guys like Sio underperformed and Slade was just too inexperienced.
