<p>With the team wearing the Lewis Brown-designed ‘Dear Warrior’ jersey against the Raiders, all fans are encouraged to reflect the occasion by dressing in black.</p>
<p>The jersey’s colour palette is inspired by Warrior #151 Brown’s ancestral homeland – the remote Chatham Islands – and the incredible story of the black robin.</p>
<p>Once nearly extinct, with just five birds remaining in 1980, the black robin has since made a remarkable recovery. That same spirit of resilience, survival and belief is deeply woven into the Warriors’ DNA.</p>
