It still cracks me up even when I read it on here,
My theory is that this was either a cheeky maori or maybe NZ or Ozzie born islander,
very fobbish sounding when you say it fast, it might be traced back to Konrad, unsure though lol

When I saw a picture of the sign it looked like someone had written 'LET'S GO WARRIORS' then somebody else in slightly different writing added the 'NE' bit. That's how it looks to me.

As to the meaning I wouldn't have a clue? Sounds more like a piss take on the sign holder then the team itself. He looked like a FOB to me...

Lets goNE Warriors was how I interpreted it, pretty sure the NEW was bolder. Therefore - Let's go New Warriors, symbolising New Zealand and the revival of the Warriors (New Warriors)

i thought he was a toothless Hori, lol, there were 2 signs like that, a Palangi fulla had one too..he might have scribbled it on quickly when he saw letsgoneWarriors though, it makes me smile..

well the truth is that somes is more lerned than others. Somes have their own teeths, some have teeth like mine which are removable & somes don't have no teeth. The fans with no teeths and no lerning shouldn't be used for Club publickity. We should be pushing that we are edjucated in NZ. Praps more players mite want to com here then.

Made the sign before the game. Taking the Mickey out of the usual chant "let's go warriors". Has a new sign ready for when we play at Suncorp again.
