This opinion piece from stuff.co.nz says that SK is considering playing Kodi at hooker next season. Of course, there’s no direct quotes from the club or even information from anyone close to the club.

NRL: The Warriors face a Kodi Nikorima conundrum in another pre-season of uncertainty
OPINION: Finding Kodi Nikorima's right place is the biggest issue Warriors need to iron out this pre-season, writes Jackson Thomas.www.stuff.co.nz
Interestingly, I’d heard a rumour that Green maybe tried at 5/8 at one stage next year to get Chanel Harris-Tavita closer to the action. It also says Green is a lock-in at 6, even though he played every game last year in the 7 shirt :|

He is a clickbait specialist mate. Hes on here. Sees Warriors fans getting pissed off at Soward's Power Rankings so creates one straight away to cater for those fans putting up Warriors up high after one game. Then probably researches what power rankings is, and does not necessarily reflect standings esp early on the season and gives up after one week. Not another power ranking all year. His articles are a joke. Also told us Hayze Perham was the frontrunner for the 7 jersey about the same time 12 months ago
7. Hayze Perham: This is the big one. Who fills Johnson's golden boots? Stuff understands Perham, the uncapped Rotorua Boys' product, has his nose in front at present and could well don the No 7 come round 1.

Expect a few new faces for the Warriors come round one
OPINION: There are likely to be some newcomers in the Warriors' round one line-up. Hazye Perham might be one of them.www.stuff.co.nz
Kodi still has a lot of talent, including speed off the mark. The trouble is you cannot fly like an eagle if you mix with turkeys, and by that I mean the whole club from top to bottom right now...with a couple of exceptions. Can't argue their points too much. If Chanel Harris-Tavita kicks on again next year he'll likely have to do what is best for the team and play dummy half.
Similar to the Jerome Hughes comment whether he is a fullback or half is Nikorima a half or hooker?
Attack was pretty shit this year. It would of been a lot worse if he didn't arrive. He hasn't shown the pace he had early in his career. Not sure if that is due to injuries, being marked better, the positional change or not getting the platform to work off. The last one he won't get much of a platform here with our lack of grunt up front.Kodi still has a lot of talent, including speed off the mark. The trouble is you cannot fly like an eagle if you mix with turkeys, and by that I mean the whole club from top to bottom right now...with a couple of exceptions.
I find it about the most accurate piece of media on the Warriors in years. He either needs to go from nothing to being able to execute plays the 7 calls, plus RUN ball in both hands, draw the extra player, pass, to get the overlap for Fusitua etc, he cant kick and never will learn. Either all that or they better sign a better 5/8th soon and shop him, the same with Wade at hooker.
I'm a fun of the guy. But can see him being stuck between two positions. I'd love to see us pick up a few forwards to see him either causing havoc from dummy half or from half back.
Yeah we definitely know that, the problem is George doesnt seem to.You do know Cameron George is the CEO right? He is not the recruitment officer, head of football, coach or assistant coach. His role in signing players is probably limited to asking those others if they support any decision to get a player and making sure there is enough money to pay for them
Anyway the jury is still out on Kodi for me but bench utility would be my pick.
But back on track = Hayze obviously has some special skills, Roger has FB sewn up so I would be playing him at Centre or 5/8. Pick one and make him make it his own, no moving him round to fit a team.
