Yeah mate, definitely tactical. Hold him out for a bit and then inject him in. It’s the same story with Jeff Lima there. I think that the combination of Cayless and
Blair starting would work better than Lima starting and
Blair coming off the bench. I see Eastwood and Moi Moi as impact players off the bench. I‘d probably be hesitant to start them especially Moi Moi even if there are one or two injuries to the starting props. I’m trying to take all positions into account including the bench. It could be the difference.
Yea, I like what your doing with the whole impact of the bench thing!
I mean the Rabbitohs brought Issac of the bench last week, and as soon as he came on, the Rabbitohs looked much better. Maybe it could work, if we don't let teams get to far ahead like the Rabbitohs let the Roosters last week.
Although, I think Issac could easily play the full 80. But then as you say, it's all about the impact thing. You can't really keep the intensity for the full 80, and especially in the hooker position, where you want a fairly fresh pair of legs running around, to try and capitialize on tired markers!
Personally I would go the more traditional way. Start Issac, play him until about the 60 minute mark. Give him a 5-10 minute break, and then let him loose in the final 10-15!
