The 'little general' Stacey Jones will once again take the field for the Kiwis after being named in the squad to play Great Britain on June 27.
Coach Brian McClennan has picked the Kiwis talisman in his 22 man squad despite the fact that he has seen little game time after breaking his arm whilst playing for the French Catalans Dragons in February.
The Kiwis side to face Great Britain at Knowsley Road Stadium is largely made up of UK based players with the exception of Greg Eastwood from the Broncos, David Kidwell from the Storm, Fui Fui Moi Moi from the Eels, Iosia Soliola from the Roosters and the Warriors' Clinton Toopi.
Five players will be omitted from the squad the week before the match.
McClennan is taking the opportunity to look at a cross section of New Zealand players and resisted the temptation to pick Kiwis stars such as Sonny-Bill Williams and Benji Marshall for the match.
He is looking at players with the end of year Tri-Nations matches and the 2008 World Cup in mind.
The Kiwis squad: Vinnie Anderson (St Helens), Jason Cayless (St Helens), Alex Chan (Catalans), Greg Eastwood (Brisbane), Henry Fa'afili (Warrington), Harrison Hanson (Wigan), Shontayne Hape (Bradford), Stacey Jones (Catalans), David Kidwell (Melbourne), Ali Lauiti'iti (Leeds), Francis Meli (St Helens), Fui Fui Moi Moi (Parramatta), Iafeta Palea'aesina (Wigan), Robbie Paul (Huddersfield), Ben Roberts (Canterbury), David Solomona (Wakefield), Iosia Soliola (Sydney), Logan Swann (Warrington), Willie Talau (St Helens), Motu Tony (Hull), Clinton Toopi (Warriors), Leslie Vainikolo (Bradford)
