The fans are important to this club, due to our sporting mentality as a nation, even more so. We are a confidence nation and we're all highs and lows.. Don't put us in the latter category. We all make a difference to the team with our general attitude.

The negativity comes from expectations we have.

Expectations are high because of the calibre of people in the team.

Expectations are high because of the success of the Kiwi team in the Tri-nation in 2005.

Expectations are high because of the time we invest in the team to be there, no matter what. For example people like DMM travel quite a while, Jesbass travelled from Auckland last week to watch the Warriors.

Expectations are because we have faith, if we did not have faith then we would not have expectations.

I also believe your taking a pot shot at the article on the right hand side of this website. Criticism, constructively is also based through expectations we hold.

Being negative would be not turning up to games.

Being negative would be all of those things, including unnecessary comments on the site. Yes, you have the right to feel negative things about their performances but lets not turn on our own team. There's a line and it's already being crossed in round 2.

perhaps its a perception problem doc.
People ( some people) only see what they want to see and then form their opinions from that.
Not saying thats a bad thing but i do believe these people only get to enjoy half the story.
I believe its the old ' rose coloured glasses syndrome' .

I am of the opinion that a story/event that interests me should be listened to properly , both sides of the story scrutinised and opposing opinions (however distasteful :roll: ) taken in to account.

be a pretty boring place if we all agreed and people would soon get sick and tired of being told what they were allowed to think.

Getting back to the topic, i think NZ has progressed from the " she'll be right" attitude and are more questioning/critical nowadays.

whether that is a good thing or not is debatable. I think its good.
whether that is seen as being positive or negative is also open to opinion.which is also good.

forcing people to say what some people want to hear is not good, some might say its unhealthy.

I think many contributers to this fine web site have unrealistically high expectations of this team (and therefore are bitterly disappointed when the team does not perform to those expectations). Yet we have lost Jones, Betham and Paleeasina from last year and replaced them with Rovelli, Gatis and Luck (and we finished 10th last year).

This is going to be a re-building year.
I want to see some of the development players given game time so that they are ready to assume greater responsibility next year.
