According to the Warriors website he was present at the season launch last night. I didn't him in any photo's but I'm keen to find out if he's training etc.

I'm really excited about him coming to the club. I watched the Knights closely last year and he just got better and better every game, got MOM at least once. When you've got players like Gidley and Simpson in your team and you're getting man of the match it really does say a lot.

Knights fan can't understand why he was let go. He is very, very highly rated by the Newcastle fanbase. I would have suspected some kind of personality issue if that was the case, but his military background argues strongly against that. He wouldn't have been breaking the salary cap, either. The only thing I can think of is his age, and yet he's going great guns, and still has a few more seasons in him.

It's only a waste if we have no injuries, which even now isn't the case. Even then, it isn't a waste - competition for spots is the crucial aspect that we've been missing in recent years, particularly in the halves.
