General Is Vossy Calling The Games For Us This Year?

I might be a bit behind on this one but that was Vossy calling the Warriors v Broncos trial game last night wasn't it?

I like his call and would be stoked if he had the job for us this year...

Anyone have the know on this?

It was announced a couple of days before hand that he'd be calling the trial for us. Hopefully it was something of a trial for him too ;]

Sticking him with Halligan is pretty awful though. I may be a Warriors fan but listening to Halligan sitting there jerking off over every little thing the Warriors do gets frustrating.

Sterlo is doing both- looking forward to his new show tho- sounds like it's gonna be along the lines of the old tactics- I've got huge respect for sterlos opinion- pity he never coached

Halligan is pretty embarrassing.. lol @ when Mateo did that back flick pass to an invisible man (Maloney?) and he said something like "and then we see a bit of Mateo Magic with the ball out the back!" just as the replay was showing, and then corrects himself "in fairness though the pass did go to ground" Ummm how did you not see that the first time!?!?

I am ALL FOR Voss commentating our games.. he's legit

A couple of occasions it sounded like Vossy was setting up Halligan for a joke or further comment and there was just an uncomfortable silence as Halligan didn't pick up on the cue at all. He's not spontaneous at all, just reads prepared bits.

Has to be Vossy! He would be the best Skysports commentator since Graeme Hughes!

He was hardly used by channel 9 last year and was reduced to calling the QLD cup. All signs seem to point to him getting the gig.

Would be awesome to have him.

I've always liked Vossy. If he is calling our games I'd be stoked. Not just because he makes a nice change from our previous commentators. It also adds to the longevity of my Rugby League Live 2 game
