Out of the job/person possibilities, you are looking at 4 total.
Brother = nurse.
Sister = cop.
Sister = nurse.
Brother = cop.
The traditional gender definition (2) would have you think that only the brother could be a cop and only the sister could be a nurse.
Sub out the jobs for masculine and feminine traits and you should see where I'm going with this.

All that indicates is the gender role assumptions are flawed, but I see where you're going with it. I'm open to the possibility science will discover there are 74 different gender-indicating enzymes in our DNA or something like that, until then gender may or may not be a self-construct, who knows, I still doubt there's a pedophile conspiracy to sexualise our kids here in the twilight of democracy. It's only political for the right wing, everyone else just doesn't care or is happy to take their kids to sex shows at the library.

Maybe they need to come up with a new symbol that denotes anyone can use it. Like 'the toilet previously known as gender specific'. People will just refer to it as 'the toilet'. The Prince of toilets?

Yup, this is pretty much the key argument, as I understand it.
I previously asked Bruce if he believed that Psychology is a science. Bit of a loaded question because of course it is.
Psychology forms alot of objective conclusion around subjective experience. The definition of gender I've been crapping on about falls heavily in this field.
I'll leave this point by saying that I'm really not affected by any of this stuff. I just want people to get along.
My concerns lay with the issues that affect us all. Cost of living, house prices, the Wah's bringing home the cup. You know, the important stuff.
