Spark sport has been ok for the couple of cricket seasons I've had a subscription. Last summer was a dud though with the cancelled Australia tour so I felt a bit short changed.

Yeah you need vpn in NZ, I use free Windscribe.
Kayo gives you 2 weeks free to try out, then $35 p. month. Sounds like Spark must have improved since I used it though.

Yeah, Kayo is a top service. Kicks both Spark and Sky's arse. They should both be copying that service.

This is where the people who constantly bag Sky aren't seeing the bigger picture. Yes Sky should of improved their offering and looked at their pricing model. But it has been a central location for all sport. To steal a business term for outsourcing or centralising suppliers it's one throat to choke if something goes wrong.
At the moment it's not as bad with two players in the market. Still it is another service to add subscriptions to along with Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, Neon.
Life is more convenient now with more entertainment or sport available to us but it is also more expensive.

Got kayo free with my sports net account but found it a lil buggy, prefer both Foxtel Go and Stan sport although kayo has a better range of sports

The only problem I have with sky is the 1 screen per game. That sucks. I could easily split the bill with a mate but would hate to get kicked off if we both watch nrl

I really like Spark Sport and am glad there is some competition now.
Before Spark Sport came along Sky Go was dooooog shit. Quality dropped all the time, frozen all the time, it sucked.
Having Spark Sport doing good live streaming of sport made Sky pull their thumbs out.
I would also rather have one good service that was affordable. But without competition you get 1 service that isnt good or affordable.

See this is an immediate turn off. Man Kayo is so much better. You can have multiple screens/devices watch the same game. I don’t get what the nz sports streaming services are on.

International ones are starting to clamp downa bit with Netflix looking at new tiers ot be fair. But yeah my assesment of it being good was in comparrison to Sky being shit haha.
