Esoj's is here:But we did get docked so that's life.
Went to the game and just got back now. Love going to Newcastle because at least the fans are informed, not like Brookvale Oval where they pluck out your eye on admission so you can sit with all the other one eyed fans.
It was a good atmosphere and had some good banter with the crowd. When we got the win on the board a couple of the fans were quick to point out "Errr you're on zero" I replied "Yeah you were there for 13 rounds last year" Shut them up real quick.
Ran off into the car park yelling Zero is my hero and -4 is the law. Loved every second of it especially the drive up the highway.
Go boys, they sure did us proud today.
It is hard to say what would have happened without losing the points. maybe we could have won one of the games we lost. it could be argued that the -4 points meant we played badly the first 2 games and that if we were on 0 points the boyz would have been a lot happier etc.
but the fact is we did lose 4 points so be it we are now on 0 points so anything is possible now if we get a good string of wins together. we really can't afford to lose to many games otherwise the remote chance we still have of making the 8 is gone. I always thought we would be lucky to make the 8 before we got docked points the deduction just made it worse.
hindsight is a beatuiful and in the end losing the -4 points may not mean anything at all depending on the rest of the season goes
