General I just sat opposite Mick Watson for 20 mins

Felt kinda frustrated the entire time.

Wanted to let go, but didn't (was in the Vero tower Foyer).

He was enjoying a sandwich and coke, avoiding calls from media and joking with friends on his mobile.

Just as I got up to go back to work he got up to get into the other lifts in the Vero tower, a side that is full to the brim of lawyers and solicitors.

Visiting anyone in particular Mick?

Unfortunately I work for a financial company.

We deal in trusts as part of our business both personal and corporate.

So as tempting as it was to let go I said to him when he got off the phone:

"I'm guessing that was the media?"

He nodded

"I bet they must be all over you like a rash at the moment, I'll let you enjoy your sandwich"

I then however preceded to pull the nz herald sports section out and read it with his own mug looking back at him.

Unfortunately I couldn't risk saying anything in case we handle his own high net worth affairs or any of a company he has his fingers in.

I felt I was right to hold my tongue and be respectful.

Apparently now I am a coward though.

I would have thought at a time like this Mick would rather be left alone than have every Warrior fan ask him about the cap.

I guess I couldn't win. (just like the warriors in 04/05) :cry:

Wow. That's a real pity, in my opinion. I learnt the lesson of not seeking revenge and how it doesn't make things better when I was still in school. If only someone had explained that to the Middle East some time in the last several centuries.

what goes round comes round. In other words Micks chickens will come home to roost and boy will he feel the pain.

Gallop mentioned that charges may be laid, if so Mick must be first in line. He did rule with an iron hand afterall.
