I don't think I've ever seen a Queensland team play that badly yet still manage to stay within 1 point.
I don't think SSO is what it used to be. The legends have gone and so has the biff. The gang tackling has for the most part gone also. The Kiwis in the ANZAC test showed how to gang tackle properly but couldn't back it up for the last 30 minutes.

Enjoyed it myself. The classic breakaway by the Blues in the first half, the fightback by the Morons, a bit of biff, and the last 5 mins the game could've gone either way...

I definitely agree about Tate. How could he have been selected whe he's only played two games this year? Were the selectors blind?

lulling the Blues into a false sense of security worked. The halftime score was decided in the Moron's changing rooms before they ran out. Mal likes Mason cos they look similar, so he told the boys to make him look like he put on a man of the match performance.
The second half went according to plan til the last three minutes. Even the penalty for Buderus's punch after Cameron Smith booted him in the head, was perfect planning.
And allowing Finch to get the ball for the field goal 40 metres as well, as they were dead set sure he'd cock it up as usual.
The only unfortunate thing was Finch didn't read the script...buggerit.
