Last night took the Mrs out to see Split Enz live here in Sydney, just got to say, those blokes are still sounding as tremendous as they did all those years ago. So many great songs
Started out with Shark Attack!
Other songs included
Strait Out Line
Stuff and Nonsense
I Hope I Never
I see Red
I got you
Dirty Creatures
Six months in a leaky boat
and they finished with
History Never Repeats
$10 to the bloke who picked what they'd play first and last (ME!)
I love the Enz, long time fan, and let me reiterate, THEY WERE F'N FANTASTIC!!! WOOO!! Two funny things last night, as some of you will know Six Months in a Leaky Boat starts off with an instrumental that makes you think of an old wooden ship sailing through the high waves of the South Pacific.. there were two or three who thought it was a nothing song so headed to the toilets... by the time they came back they'd missed one of the best, if not the best Kiwi song ever. And some blond down in front who got a bit tiddly, and walked out near the end to the toilets and actually when walking down the steps fell onto some blokes lap.
Great night - long live the Enz! Frenz of the Enz forever!
