GWM Game Day Guide: Members' Appreciation Round - warriors.kiwi

VIP treatment awaits members when the One New Zealand Warriors make their long-awaited return to a sold-out Go Media Stadium for the club’s annual Members’ Appreciation Round on Sunday (match day sponsor: GWM).

After four consecutive road trips the Warriors are at home for the first time since beating the Brisbane Broncos 20-18 on April 19, a victory which ignited a five-game winning sequence.

Their return to the fortress coincides with a ‘black out’ theme with the NRL side playing in the hot selling ‘Dear Warrior’ jersey inspired by Warrior #151 Lewis Brown; the players will also wear a specially designed, limited edition ‘Dear Warrior’ tee for their warm-up.

One of the night’s other special features will be the halftime appearance by the club’s Harold Matthews Cup under-17 squad to celebrate their extraordinary achievement of winning the premiership for the season second in succession.

The TJ Ashford-coached Warriors rocked the competition last year when they won the grand final in their debut campaign and this year, with an almost completely new group of players, they emulated the feat by beating Newcastle 30-16 in the title decider on May 3.

All fans are encouraged to wear black to create an intense game day atmosphere for this rematch of the season-opening contest between the two sides 13 weeks ago in Las Vegas.

One New Zealand Warriors members will be able to enjoy a number of exclusive opportunity in appreciation for their loyal support:

A pre-game event at Lilyworld (3:00pm–5:00pm) with complimentary bubbles on arrival, a $20 food voucher redeemable for a smoked chicken and brisket meal, spot prizes and special appearances from Lewis Brown, Warriors old boys and non-playing players.

Member prize draws. Members will automatically be in the draw to win:

Seat upgrades to the TAB Clubrooms, Speight’s Clubhouse and Best Foods Best Seats.

Field-side access to watch the team warm up pre-game.

A spot in the halftime guard of honour.

The honour of tossing the coin for the NRL match.

A free 2026 membership renewal.

Member tenure acknowledgement: Be recognised on the big screen during the member tenure segment when members are invited to stand for the number of years they’ve held a Warriors membership.

Gates open at 3.05pm ahead of the New South Wales Cup match between the competition-leading One New Zealand Warriors and the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs.
