Support/Announcement "guest" In Live Chat

Is there a way to disable the "Guest" posts in the live chat? It's like a spam-bot in there.

Add to that, the "new thread" posts too. Can we just keep it to actual chat, please?

I think the only thing the 'guest' posts is the new threads? Or is it other shit too?

Taj added that in because the chatroom was largely unused 6/7 days a week and then has a 2 hour flurry on game days. So it's basically a highlights reel of the threads being posted in all the sections of the site as they happen. Guest is just the name they come under when the RSS feeds from warriors.co.nz and NRL.com get posted, so that's what you're seeing. But if it's better the old way I'm sure we can revert. Taj can probably explain it better than myself

Yeah, it's the RSS feed stuff. It just looks spam-ish. That said, if no-one else cares, I can live with it.

Ill see what i can do with that Ryan. The idea was to give a rundown of news as they happen as posted by the RSS feeds in the chatbox as a quick outlet rather than checking out those subsections. I do realise it is somewhat intrusive and will look for a solution to remove most if not all the posts made by the RSS feeds. Thanks for the feedback.

A possible solution may be to have an RSS feed box of it's own.
