Is anyone else playing this? Im not really into gaming unless sports titles but with everyone raving about it I had to go grab myself a copy. Installing now. Anyone else playing on xbox 360?

Love GTA. Actually wasn't so bothered about this one though with no immediate PC port, and could take a year if they're gonna release it. But on a whim decided I'm gonna upgrade to a PS3 - so gonna save up some survey vouchers and treat myself to a console and game. Will wait a few weeks til the price drops drastically though. Dat Skimming

Looks exciting if not just for the multiplayer, will probably be disappointed tho

Yeah going to get my copy after I finish my stint of nights at work, have played a bit tonight at a mate's place though. Have played all GTA games since GTA 1 and this will be no exception. Definitely worth a play through, great series of games.

This new version is supposedly the biggest free-roam of all time; bigger than Red Dead Redemption (amazing game) + GTA4 and GTA San Andreas combined! Hyuuuuge. It's like the Burgii of games but without the uber-milf.
Anyway enough ranting. Must get work done and GTFO.

yep came out yesterday. They even had midnight launches at a lot of targets, jb hifi, ebgames etc stores in australia. Should be a lot around. I just walked in at lunchtime to grab a copy

Played it last night. WOW! Did a few missions and did a lot of free roaming. Bloody awesome game. Everyone online on my friends list on xboxlive were logging on to play the game

Also note that multiplayer will be unlocked on Oct 1st so that Rockstar are have enough time to shore up their servers for the implending stampede of ppl going online to play. If you have an iphone or android(coming soon) phone there is an iFruit app that allows you to customise your car number plate, teach your dog "chop" a few tricks etc.

Im hardly a gamer, but reading about what ppl are finding in this game makes me want to leave work early today and do all the stuff in the game.

Also do note that it was a R18 rating over in Australia, and justifiably so. There is a lot of swearing amongst other things. The soundtracks are awesome!

Yeah they've put more effort into the soundtracks, radiostations etc in this one. Glad you're enjoying it, there's a heap of side missions and small things to do outside of the main plot lines too....gives it good replay value.

picked up GTA5...did some free roaming ,hit strip club,got kicked out for touching the stripper,so gave the bouncers a hiding, police turned up,so ran off and jacked a car which happened to be a gang members , and started a gang shoot out...brilliant
you could play this for weeks and not even scratch the surface with its depth of gameplay
