General GOT `EM - SEASON TICKETS!!

Season tickets arrived in the mail today.... I`m tickled pink, as my mother back in Boston likes to say... immediately drove over to Ericsson and got the new 2006 jersey and cap... GET READY TO R-R-R-R-RUMBLE, EVERYONE!!

Oh dear. Ours haven't arrived yet. Will check the mail tomorrow and panic then. This isn't good. :-(

I did- left two messages for someone to call me - noone did. Left my work number and my cell phone number. I won't panic until tomorrow. :) If you see someone on the outside of Ericsson kicking up a stink on Sunday - it might be me.:)

I was at the main office earlier today, Sue, and it looked like mass confusion for the office staff... a busy day there. Have you tried sending an e-mail? They`ve replied quickly to the ones I sent them, so might be the best way to go.

Yep - tried that too, but only when I got home tonight. Like I said, I'll wait and see if they arrive in tomorrows post and if not, then I'll kick into action.
We WILL be there Bay 29 Row L 1&2 on Sunday.

Yeah, they're definitely different this year. Although the little "tabs" at the bottom for freebies and discounts are a good idea.

For some reason my 7-year-old's ticket didn't come with a $4 Lion Red discount ... :(

Got mine yesterday - must admit they were cutting it pretty close.

Have to ask the question: seeing I paid for these back around October last year why does it take this long for the Club to get them out to fans? It was like the Capt's lunch this year - I got an email about it 8 days before it happened - too little time and hence I couldn't make it. A months notice and we would have grabbed a table, like we did for the breakfast at North Harbour.

What is wrong with the marketing dept in our club? The Season ticket holders are a captive audience for promotions and the like. Why aren't they sending us our tickets in January along with an option to buy discounted gear? People running around in Warrior's gear with the sponsors logos on is free advertising for the sponsors!!!! How about a "season ticket holders only" meeting with the players that you can take your kids to? How about discounted caps identifying the wearer as a Season Ticket holder? There are a hundred things they could be doing to make people want to be season ticket holders that wouldn't cost the club a fortune.

Wake up guys - this is a business - get smarter with it!

Finally got hold of Susan today - they have one ticket at the office and the other one is lost. They have issued a game day ticket so that I can get in, but I have to collect both tickets from another gate to where I normally enter. I did have the option of getting them picked up today though. They say they haven't been able to find my seat's ticket coming back from the printer. I appreciate that it is a busy time for them, but like Trotbags said, we paid for these back in September and two days before the first game of the season, I have to chase up where my tickets are.
I will send an email tonight to the Warriors to let them know that I'm not too happy. I know I can get to the game now, but the timeframe sucks.
Rant over.

Did anyone notice the glaring spelling errors on the Vodafone lanyard giveaway slip??
When I was a young fulla at Mangere College, redeam was spelt redeem and I would have thought that Vodfone (that's how it is) would have got their own name right!!
Maybe we're under the salary cap by employing school kids in the marketing office??

Lol, yes, I noticed that too.

Did anyone else actually get a lanyard? Neither me, my wife, or my dad received one... :?

I didnt get the lanyard that the letter said was enclosed but at least I got my ticket.

You have some good ideas and questions. Perhaps you should be sending them to the Warriors management.

Ive wondered for years why we have top wait so long to get the tickets. Maybe its a printing issue thing where the more printing of tickets done gets cheaper and thats why they wait till the bitter end to get their maximum amount. Sure gives us fans heart attacks with worry though and theres gotta be a better way.
