Gallen was as guaranteed of getting off as a Kiwi player is guaranteed of getting a suspension before a test.

Im not sure Gallen will play this week. Didn't he get found guilty but there was no suspension?

He then went on to fight the charge anyway and risk a week on the sideline. To me that suggests he thought he might as well fight it cause he wouldnt be playing anyway.
