He has been granted name suppression until his trial begins at least.
Which is....... next year due to a backlog in the courts. It'll be ata least a full year (at the earliest next July) until he goes to trial.
So it's off the topic list well and truly. Bit of a shame for all concerned I think who will have to sit round for months worrying about it. And a sad indictment on our court system that they are that bogged down. these issues need sorting out as soon as possible.
