Just watching the Footy show tonight as a prelude to the tst. Fat and th boys are pissed as. Matty got them into the Karva after interviewing Reuben.

What a laugh ! And they all pick the kiwis. Sterlo stated that the kiwis have to win if the world of rugby league is to grow.

Quite a funny show tonight.

The Chief was out of hismind and Matty couldn't stop laughing. A one stage Fats cracked a bottom of JIm Beam and had a swig !

And Matty announced that the kiwis had signed 2 jerseys to be sent down to Tasmania to give to the 2 miers to wear when they are rescued.

Does anyone else think the footy show has gone downhill?? Its been gay this year..im starting not to watch it

The needa bring back Girds and have him doing their house. That was a good segment and Crack a Fat is better than this Dutch Auction stuff.

I agree, bring back Their House! That was brilliant. And they used to have segments like Freddys Footy Tips, No Talent Time, Beat the Boys, Going Going Gooooone, not to mention NRL's Most Wanted...

And just on the kava thing, has anyone here tried it?

Yep

I have Tried Kava..

It gives you a Fuzzy tounge, and a slight Body Stone similar to what you can get from a Mild Joint.

Tastes like bad Peppery Mud...

But it DOES RELAX you. And it is good stuff if youre having sleeping problems etc.

Sometimes you can have erotic dreams in your sleep after having it as well.

To prepare it:

1, You need some Pantyhose
2, Kava Powder (available from Fiji-Indian Shops at about $10 a bag)

3, a small-med bowl of Hot water...

Put Kava powder in Clean Pantyhose and massage into the hot water.

Then enjoy....

Once you are used to the taste, the kava starts to take effect..

IMPT:: Do not mix Kava drinking with Alcohol Drinking.

That's an interesting point there, BigD. I've heard that some counties in the States are considering making it illegal to drive with kava in the system, because it impairs driving in a similar manner to alcohol, apparently.

Are you serious? you are the first person/s i have heard that liked those kiddie pointless segments, hence why they had to alter the show this year or it was getting axed. It had the worst ratings over here for a few months because people were sick of watching the FOOTY show, and getting, the WIGGLES, i say if you're really keen on watching that stuff rather than stuff actally about Rugby league just go down to your local PCYC or Church Youth Group and you'll see the same thing. I say.... Footy Show = Footy. Not games.

Are you serious? you are the first person/s i have heard that liked those kiddie pointless segments, hence why they had to alter the show this year or it was getting axed. It had the worst ratings over here for a few months because people were sick of watching the FOOTY show, and getting, the WIGGLES, i say if you're really keen on watching that stuff rather than stuff actally about Rugby league just go down to your local PCYC or Church Youth Group and you'll see the same thing. I'm with Jonesy. It was great to have a bit of entertainment that was associated with rugby league without being rugby league itself. Who was that Manly supporter who sang "Go Manly Go"? That was probably one of the funniest things I've ever seen on television, especially when you knew the guy was genuine, and it wasn't an act... :lol:

Mate, that's the whole point of the Footy Show. It's a laugh, and that's why it's so popular. The Sunday Footy Show is for talking about footy - how come that's not as popular then, if that's all anybody wants to watch?

I'm with the both of them. Those segments were hilarious. If you wanted serious stuff you should have watched the Sunday programmes.

The thursday night footy show is for some laughs, have a few footy players on..talk about the games coming up and what happened the round before hand..and again..have some laughs.

If you want to hear them talk about footy ONLY..go watch the sunday footy show.
