General Football Manager 2013

Is anyone playing it? I know from past threads(previous forum) that it has quite a bit of a following.

I haven't tried yet. Is there enough of a difference between 2013 and 2012 to justify the out lay?

Yeah , I would appreciate any feedback, I have the 2011 version. Has there been much of an improvement??

Between 2011 and 2012 just cosmetic and if i remember rightly 2012 brought in the 3D view of the pitch.

I get sick of getting asked all the same questions in press conferences and with match/competition reports etc all repeating themselves after a while. Football manager is a game where you can never have too much variety.

Not sure about 2011 but in 2012 i always got the assistant manager to handle the press conferences.

Yeah you can do that in 11 too, lol I did initially enjoy doing them but they count for nothing and get repetitive very quickly.

ok boys, i played it last night and the last version i played was FM2011 and its a marked improvement! Lots of new features, get your assistant to do what you want them to do, you even have a director of football who you can assign tasks. lots of nifty things and didnt think i would be a fan of the 3d match engine but its really nice! Im playing with the phoenix, who do you guys usually take?

I normally use a championship 1 team and try and get them into the EPL. Money is always the biggest hurdle to kepping them up it's fun and frustrating at the same time.

I usually take one the weaker Premier League teams and attempt to turn them into a domestic and continental force. Its always tough to begin with but I find there are always decent players who are willing to come to your club, you just have to find them and obviously use effective tactics.

I've never used the Phoenix before. That would be interesting playing the A-League.

Definately worth a buy.

Cheers mate I had been wanting to get some feedback about this game for a while. I think I'll definitely look into getting it

Its an amazingly in depth game and the cool thing about it is there are always big improvements that can be made just because of the sheer diversity of the game.
