With Lockyer, Thurston & Prince vying for the Queensland halves spots, at least two of them would probably need to fall over for Nathan to get a shot. Good to see he's in the reckoning though.Warriors utility Nathan Fien seems to be in State of Origin reckoning this year. Fien played his only match for Queensland in 2001 but flies to Brisbane tomorrow to join the emerging State of Origin camp. The 26 year old was selected last year but could not attend. He says it is great to know he is being looked at but his priority is with the Warriors and anything else is a bonus.
The sixteen man camp also features the likes of rising Parramatta halfback Tim Smith and Broncos fullback Karmichael Hunt, while former Origin centre Justin Hodges will be there as well.
The four Warriors players who will be attending the annual NRL rookie camp at the end of the month in Sydney are Simon Mannering, new halfback Grant Rovelli, and promising forwards Sam Rapira and Sonny Fai.
