General "Fielden best player in the World" - lol

I think Id rather have Price and Webcke as front rowers ahead of him anyday.

Fielden is a damn fine player, and a top 5 as far as props go but he has a bit to prove yet to wear the "best player" millstone. Never seen him do a banana kick or throw a 30m spiral pass. Could probably name his price all the same.

Those commentators crack me up. They backtrack, or talk utter bollocks, all the time. To paraphrase, "Look, what I'm sayin' is that right at this very point in time Stuart Fielden is the best player in the world." Well that would be right. He was the best player on the day among combined squads of 34 and the season hasn't started proper in both hemispheres yet, so that's a small selection. Kind of announcing the GF winner in round one. Or to put it another way, right at this point in time I am typing a W then an O, and an R etc...

Doesn't mean jack until the sentence is finished.

Offers a lot more to the warriors, did you happen to see how many times he tried to or actually offloaded the ball when tackled ?

I would love to see him in 2 years in Warrior colours. When Price or Wiki retire, we should have a bit of money to use.

We would be foolish not to try and sign him up.

I love the Kiwis and the kiwi players but i do think that currently Fielden is the best forward in the game currently.

If all things remain equal, then Fieldon is the perfect replacement for Price/Wiki.

I can't see it happening personally, look for him to go to the Roosters :?

Well the Poms love to blow their own trumpet, especially Eddie and Steveo. They will at any opportunity they can.
Feildon is a good player. Lets hope he doesnt switch to the 'other game'. Would not say he is the best in the world and would rate Wiki higher then him.

he's not the best player in the world, he is a great forward and is a mean player on his day but there are better players in the nrl and esl

He is good player but get over yourselves. He is nowhere in the same class as Sonny Bill Williams or Shane Webcke. Dont even compare him to Webcke who has played so many SOO Games, represented his country and played through so many Grand Finals. There is no comparison between Webcke and him.

Ruben Wiki also rates higher than him in the Rugby League chain. Someone who has represented his country over 40 times and never put in a bad performance and now an insiprational leader of his country.

Fielden doesnt come close.
