Warriors bad boy Sione Faumuina has been hit in the pocket.
Sunday News can reveal Faumuina has been fined and given a final warning after his latest off-field brain explosion and the penalty is the second biggest in the six years that Cullen Sports have owned the club.
Ex-hooker Jason Death was fined $10,000 after the second game of the 2001 NRL.
Sunday News understands Faumuina's fine was in the region of $5000 following his drunken behaviour at Awen Guttenbeil's testimonial luncheon last month.
It included a foul-mouthed outburst during speeches honouring Guttenbeil and the player later aimed abusive language.
"But that's all it certainly wasn't any record fine. I don't really want to talk about that any more I think we have gone far enough on it."
Faumuina's latest off-field indiscretion was greeted with sadness by former Canberra Raiders boss CEO Kevin Neil, who signed the troubled league star in 2001.
"He is such a talented player. He is a very talented player and I hope he concentrates on footy," said Neil.
"He was a good kid (in Canberra) but he wasn't a model citizen. There was one particular incident which I don't really want to go into. There was one."
Meanwhile, senior Warriors Ruben Wiki, Steve Price and Nathan Fien could be in the market for new agents as early as Thursday.
Agents Jim Banaghan (who handles Wiki and Fien) and George Mimis (who handles Price) will front the NRL's Player Agent Accreditation Committee.
They face having their credentials torn up, effectively banning them from the NRL after their roles in the Warriors salary cap rort.
Banaghan and Mimis have been accused of accepting free flights to Auckland, not declaring commercial deals for their players to NRL management and other breaches of protocol.
