Most games outside of ESL were postponed last weekend. We had terrible weather blown in from Siberia during last week, heavy snow and minus 10 deg C on a couple of nights. It's passed by now but pitches were in a state, as were some roads on higher ground.
I've just listened to Koukash on BBC Manchester radio on the way home where he mentioned he's been working on a plan to get a Super League team in Cumbria. The rationale being that it's a long standing RL heartland with ESL teams having plenty of Cumbria origin players, also that young kids in Cumbria walk around with RL jerseys on not EPL like the rest of the country.
I agree with his sentiments, just wish it wasn't him saying it
