Considering we're without SJ and RTS, I'm probably more confident than I should be.

I haven't been all that impressed with the Eels attack this year, and think they're prone to running out of ideas if they don't score in the first few sets (hmm, sound like any other team you know of? )

Hoping that Blair gets a nice shot on Moses early to rattle him.

Crucial game? Our good start is slipping, a loss tonight and we could be 7th by the end of the round if the favorites win the other games. Boys need to get up, everyone in the 17 will need to do their job. The Eels have't been very good, but they have had some close losses, we don't grind well in Sydney.

If you want your confidence boosted, we shouldn't win this game, Johnson and RTS out, away from home, on a short turn around, which means we probably will win.

I'd like to see Fusitua at the back. He's that good.

Anyhow. We still have strike power but it will again not be our best line up.

Such is sport.

Important variables (unknons) = will our team turn up with the right attitude?

Do we feel like tackling and kicking off all night?

I reckon the team has known about RTS's baby watch for months. Well I seriously hope so to enable more practice time for the combinations.

I expect a small crowd tonight so hope we can still give our best playing in front of a tumbleweed and a cricket.

A Rangatira shouldn't ask anything of his warriors that he himself isn't prepared to do....
RTS has proved this with his body on the line mentality this year,100%.....
To establish a culture,whanau comes 1st!!!! ALWAYS.........

Now its up to the rest of our squad to keep there momentum building.....
Kiakaha boys......

So with the team being named can they have up until a certain time to change? I read that Lawton/Beale drop out and the bench is Satae/Gavet/Mannering/Tevaga. :nailbiting::nailbiting:
I believe the makeup of the team can change up until kick off from the 18-19 players listed, I could be wrong however.
CNK should be more than capable of doing a good job if called upon.

How will the Eels players react to Arthur calling their plays "dumb" in the press conference last week? Publically calling out your team can be risky...

Warriors by 6. And some Warrior to bring back the "rock-a-bye-baby" try celebration...
