Whats the general concensus on our forums about the above topic. I haven't heard this muted before but it is the only major city in NZ that doesn't have at least one major rugby league match.

I think the NZRL should hold out for the new Carisbrook.

You would have no chance of going to an NRL game as it would be a TEST! which doesn't involve many NRL teams, maybe im wrong though.

Oh you never know. Another team could come along and make a deal with that region just like the Doggies did with Welly and so on. Take one of their home games against the Warriors there and then have first pick at the developing players from that region :roll:
