Just some pointers Ive found. Going to build my team up this weekend. Research first. Might not win the whole competition, but Im determined to at least kick your guys asses!!!

Not even close, he will be off the field at least 10 minutes a game, and will drop to $350K 3rd rnd, Parker won't be kicking, his and Fensoms scores will be impacted by the 8m+ rule.

Hayne and Inglis look like best buy out of that group with their possible scoring capabilities 160 doesn't look unreachable anymore, I could see them being near unaffordable by rnd 5.

Smith-it will be typical scoring for him a must have.

Billy has always been up and down score wise and is carrying ankle injury at the moment, tough year to go into carrying an injury.

Taylor should be worth 30 points a game in tackle breaks.

Thurston was horrible to have in your team last year, generally because he was losing 20 odd points a game through errors,penalties and missed tackles, but has been the gun half DT Super Coach since it began, He is cheap at the moment.

Cameron Smith, Jarrod Hayne, Greg Inglis and Jonathan Thurston were my first picks. You might be right about JT. Adam Reynolds could be the go. Kicks goals really well, scores tries, sets up tries and can tackle. Got Johnson on my bench. Hayne or G.I to captain/vice. Tariq Sims is fully fit and going cheap. Mara looks like a good cheap buy now that Friends out and looks to be getting the nod for the hooker role. Only around $120,000. Not going to get Gallen. Far too expensive.George Burgess looks to be stepping in for Sam and going cheap. Beale playing FB and going cheap.

Cant help stacking my team with Warriors or ex players haha. Half done. My front row are all hookers! Need more research...

Just gonna put myself out there and show my team as it stands now. Obviously with another 29 days before the first lockout there will be some tweaking and trading but this is my first attempt. And not just for this season but my first team ever . Happy to accept any help, comments, criticism, hints.

And yes I know, Ive stacked it with Warriors but their cheap on some look to be getting game time such as Mara...

No Shaun Johnson, what! are you crazy, 30 odd points extra this year on an average game, if he fires he should be top 5 easily,I'm considering him as Captain,waiting to see Broncs trial though..

All goals count-goal kicking halves that carve and force drop outs will be worth T.Rexs weight in gold, 70 odd tackle breaks last year puts Shaun Johnson right up there with the elite halves, he will be scoring big points this year, no doubt.

If Shaun Johnson has an average season he will still be one of top halves, if he goes off like we know he can and has improved his tackle technique, I believe he will be as valuable as Inglis. Shaun Johnson had the most tries of any half last year, Shaun Johnson and Maloney were the only halves combo to make the top 20 in try assists.
He is the only non goal kicking half from last year that is over the $250,000 mark, add in some drop outs, 40-20s, and goals and he is one of the few that can take full advantage of the new scoring system.

I'm 50/50 on the rex, he's got mean competition for game time, prefer to wait and see how he goes for game time,
Croker scores up and down regularly and with Campese back he might not get the kicking duties. Hodges could be the must have true centre if he stays fit, he used to score huge when they didn't have attacking points.

Gidley has been a super coach gun until last year,attacking stats should see him do better than Beale, my bench is fine at this stage, my team is different this week lol..
