He's highly rated by some because of his work ethic, From what ive seen of him he's not a flashy Benji Marshal type player. He reminds he a little of a Travis Norton but without the strength

i agree, i like Ropati, maybe he needs to distrubute the ball a little more but he's got skill.

I think you could've used some better teams as examples though.

Manly's Stand off is Travis Burns (one of the form five eigths and favourite for NRL rookie of the year)

Canberra's Stand off is Jason Smith (playing the best football of his career, great ball distributer and decent kicking game)

Ropati has improved a lot in during the past weeks & its true most of us havn't acknolwged that fact. However people wanted him to move back to centre or the bench, not many people actually said he had no talent or wanted him out of the team completly. I guess the posts looking for new 5/8's can seem ruthless when he's doing a good job however he was pretty bad at 5/8 for a long time so that might take a while to get out of people's systems.

ive always said before the season kicked off i liked to see ropati plat at 5/8, yes he started of slowly, but the last few weeks he has stamped his position at 5/8.

I've heard rumors that Dan O'Regan has now gone to the storm and that Mike Afioga will be staying with the Warriors for 2010.

Can anyone confirm/deny?

First i've heard of it but O'Reagan does suit the Storms style of play so who knows, and he isn't getting much of a go at the Warriors.

Ideal replacement for Dallas Johnson if he chooses to go to the uksl. Better opportunity and be a good career move for Dan O'Regan, he'll do well in Melb's, better than the Warriors, theres no future at the Warriors.
