Kevin Locke was pretty damn quick too just ask Wile E Coyote he never could catch him
I teased Matt Elliot one time...about when he was Mic'd up by the NRL....and he was yelling from the coaches box "Posts Fish Post!".

Elliot did smile before going into a waffle about scoring near the posts makes the conversion easier......I guess that is why he is an expert coach.....

Maybe he was thinking of Locke..."Watch the Posts Fish look out!"

The length of the field sprinter evidence is always sketchy with players who do not get many chances to give it a crack.
Yea, depends how fatigued the player is as well (early vs late in the game). What they have just done previously (chasing down a player in defence then needing to make a break).

Then early in the season when your fresh vs late in the season. Walsh was fast when he first came in, looks slower with intensive training and games taking their toll.

Then acceleration vs top end speed. Personally think the burst of acceleration is more important.

True.

The oppertunity to go the length are few and far between in a match, however it must be nice for some teams to have that in their armoury knowing if they can present a certain player with clear field in front of him its all over rover ala the fox.
Lovely little wank bank page this. Been so long since we splunked over someone’s speed.
You silver tongued devil you...... ;)

Gutsy effort to play 80 minutes with that.
Looking at 6 weeks.

Just listening to a podcast he's done on Searley Talks Warriors. Describes himself as an Australian with Kiwi roots which is surprising.
