Some people down the road from my brother's decided two nights ago they would have a Lock Down party. Apparently there was over 30 people and most of them had retired including some who had "escaped" from their retirement village for the night.

Heard a new word to describe people like this --- COVIDIOTS.

Just had a customer ask me if I am working. He should have known I couldn't but I think was trying me on. There will be a lot of that. I bet the knock shops keep working as well. I wonder of the neighbourhood watch system will catch people out?

Yesterday, I had a phone call from a guy asking if I'd go next week and do a site measure for a house he wanted to do an alteration to. He didn't like my answer.

Also, had a discussion with a friend last night on what should be counted as an essential service. He thought plumbers and drainlayers shouldn't be. He changed his mind when I asked him if he'd be prepared to wait three to four weeks to have a burst pipe fixed.

It just had to happen. The Queen might have it too. What a razz if both Charles and The Queen pegged it, King William?? Heyzeuss spare me.
Try and stop the English gathering in numbers if the Queen clocks out.

England to some degree has wishy washy restrictions..
...as it stands iirc people are allowed to attend Funerals...

I'm listening to Nursing officials this morning.

Oh my God.

You're not gonna believe this.

Nurses as it stands right now are looking at a situation where some areas in New Zealand wont have full access to protective gear.

The issue is that somewhere there is a breakdown in the release of the gear.

There is enough gear in the equipment Wharehouse.

But someone in the chain decided that the gear should be rationed until the outbreak peaks.

Nurses are now screaming out to get full coverage.

I cannot imagine the terror aye...no social distancing for them...swimming in COVID.

I wouldn't be able to sleep.

I would get sick worrying in their shoes.

In truth I wouldnt go to work.

So...listening to a DHB official, it's being driven at their level.

Bastards.

That means an Administrator is making health decisions that are outside their skill base.

Bean counting culture when the last thing NZ needs right now is them making health decisions.

Was listening to this too. Hopefully this will be sorted quickly.
What it's about bro is historic.

When I was on the shop floor they started rationing hand wash, gloves, and everything else.

fuckers had the gaul to call Rationing 'releasing time to care'.

So....they can't help themselves, they are so conditioned from CEO down to running third world suplly in any area that they can get away with.

Mental health was hit particularly hard.

No dressings in a workplace where people hack themselves open with dirty objects...very bad.

No dressings for people who accidentally hurt themselves.

A rest home in Napier with residents who suffer from dementia has one resident who they think maybe COVID-19 positive. Worrying thing is that Hawkes Bay has three recorded cases and all three had travelled from overseas and self isolated. Looks like it’s starting to spread through communities now.

In breaking news: the people of Mexico wish Trump had finished "His Wall" to keep people fleeing from the States carrying the virus South of the Border.

This thread needs some good news.

A mate works for a major Private health care provider.

They have canceled all their elective surgery and have stepped up to take as much of the cancer patients load away from public health as they can.

That includes all those operations cancer patients are waiting for on long public waiting lists.

Jacinda saying she used to be a checkout operator.....

That silences the fake news she is out of touch and a career politician...
What in her school holidays? She left Waikato Uni and began working for socialist politician straight away.

If you get the bad version of Covid 19 .. it is an unpleasant way to die.
It is like Drowning & you may have to be restrained from taking your tubes out.

Patients in their 40s and 50s, that “should be perfectly fit, healthy people” are admitted with “minimal support” and they can suddenly go into complete shut down.

Those people can suddenly have a “respiratory arrest” where they “can’t breathe” and “become unresponsive”.
