I know he did nothing while with the Warriors but I believe he has improved as a footballer while in England and could be a cheap answer for Management to fix our 5/8 problem.
I watched him play for the Waitakere Rangers against the Waicoa Bay Stallions last night and he absolutely tore strips off them. Although he was named and played mostly fullback he stood up and slotted into the first and second receiver roll.
He scored 2 excellent tries and played a part in nearly all of the other 10 tries scored. He defence which use to be suspect at times looked rock solid.
Watching him play makes me think that the Bartercard Competition in not as strong as it should be or Cliff Beverley has improved 1000% since leaving the Warriors.
He definately a player who I believe still has the ability to compete with the best of them in the NRL.
