However, the USA will back Japan..(dunno why esp after WW2).

If you remember Japan beheaded & really tortured foreign Warriors in WW2.

I'll support China. To be honest, the Japanese disgust me with their war atrocities, slaughtering of whales and the like. Anyone who has read about Japans invasion of China in world war two and what the Japanese soldiers did to the Chinese civilians knows what I'm talking about. That coupled with how they treated their prisoners of war was nothing short of hideous. I would never support the Japanese in anything, ever.

The reason that the yanks support Japan is because now days Japan is a fully fledged member of the UN and security council with a democratic system. China is a communist state which is abhorent to American beliefs. Funny enough China is a communist state in no small part because of the Americans and who they supported durring the second Sino Japanese war. Also a little know fact is that when Japan surrended the Americans began an occupation of China to maintain law and order. But they also allowed the Japanese forces in China to maintain there armed status within China despite the Japanese losing the Pacific war. This caused an huge amount of hatred toward both the Americans and extended the hate toward the Japanese further. And if you want to know why the Chinese hate the Japanese so much google "the rape of Nanking (now known as Peking) or the "Nanking massacre". Got to love them yanks.

You could always try a Dotcom (minus the body image issues) and try to conquer the world by taking over the internet - sorry, just let slip another of your plans. Perhaps just go back to threatening the world with coke and methols bombs. Darn, I should really learn to keep my mouth shut.

I think this is the point really.

America as we all know forms these Alliances with strategically placed countries as platforms to Launch a Full scale War on any region of the planet.

Israel Saudi South Korea Japan New Zealand etc are small countries by area but form important land bases for a global security.

New Zealand may be small and far away from it all , but that offers a massive asset if a worse case scenario is played out and the Northern Hemisphere suffers some cataclysmic event.

In that scenario we are better placed and resourced than anywhere else in the world ( by virtue of Isolation )
