General Chin Up, We Can Still Make The 8

OK, looking at the ladder, we will still be on 9th after this week. If Canberra win today there will be 5 teams on 20 points but we are in front because of our for and against. We have every chance of making the 8 at least 5 or 6 if results go our way.

How are we gonna do it? Win

Pretty tough to make top 8 but not impossible but even if we do we will scrap in and have shown most of this season we are not a team that deserves to be in the top 4 or get any further than top 8 if we scrape in. I still see issues with Bluey as coach.

No way we can beat Manly away (even if it is in Perth), Cowboys away and Dragons away (our attack won't even going close to cracking their defence).

What concerns me is the focus becomes simply making the 8 and if that happens we go that the season wasn't so bad. For me making the 8 will not be a successful season unless the finals run lasts at least two weeks and we can go into next year with a few positives, because at the moment the Warriors final place on the table has more to do with the other teams performances than anything they are doing.

hear ya, an I dont really give a shit about the 8, said it before 50% half the bloody comp make the 8 so woop de shit really but you need to make the 8 for a shot at the title and if I learnt anything last year, your performance through the year dont count for zip when it comes to finals football, ask the Storm how they felt when we played our best game of a mediocre 2011 and dealt to them, ask the Broncos as well they looked the goods along with the Storm neither made it to the GF.
I just want us to toughen up first and foremost even if Im oversimplifying it, watch Manly when they lose next , their forwards still run hard in 70th minute their backline holds composure prob due to experience dunno but I admire it.

Good game Tigers put up a good scrap with the number of casualties they had during the game, I think thats why I get pissed all these teams play like their lives depend on it at this end of the season even the teams who have shit show in hell of really making it, they fight till the last minute of the game thats what I wanna see this weekend.
