I'm sure there are some knowledgable people out there who can give us a few pointers.
I'm pretty much blind so don't drive and am a complete novice at buying & selling cars. However after the usual hiccups & dickheads we've successfully - fingers crossed - sold the family vehicle - well it's Mother's car actually but she's very generous with it and at 65 is now heading off on an extended OE , but that's another story.
Some assistance please because the lady is picking it up on the weekend & we haven't a clue as to
1) whether she gets all the accumulated service and WOF sheets from the past 3 years. We don't have these from the previous owner
2) how much petrol in the tank would be a fair amount to help her on her way back to Auckland .
3) Any other tips to make for a pleasant exchange. I should point out the settlement price is not generous, but if mother is happy , the family is happy.
