General BYE week randomized team picking game

Kia ora,
I'm looking ahead to our first BYE & keen to run a game over 13 days (Sunday the 14th-Friday the 26th May) where participants select a 13 man squad.
The concept is for up to 17 players to play & each is to be given a different NRL team to pick from each round. Each round I would set the criteria at about 8am (NZT), 24 hours later a new criteria would follow & everyone would select one player per day for 13 days to form their side.

Which NRL team you'd have & in what round would be outlined before we begin (ie. Wrighty Round 1 - Dragons, Round 2 Bulldogs....). Daily I'll provide the new criteria (ie. a redhead) & once it is set it'd be first in first served but that player must've had an appearance for the club you've drawn. No player can be selected twice & the rugbyleagueproject.org will be used as the database for selections.
Drawing the Dolphins as your pick would be disadvantageous for the 13 players who end up with them (& probably dictate the order of the criteria) but at the end of the day it's just a bit of fun.

Couple of questions. If you get the Canberra Raiders in a round is it picking from their current squad or any player in their history that has made an appearance? And if it's any player in history would it be fairer to exclude the Dolphins?

All time. If less than 17 people sign up then the Dolphins will be excluded

Must’ve missed this- I’ve been too busy gas lighting the other threads (I think..? I’m still not quite sure what that means tbh).
