An excessive insurance premium could yet rule star Kiwi stand-off Benji Marshall out of Friday night's Anzac test against Australia in Brisbane.
The 21-year-old Wests Tigers player was named in the starting lineup on Tuesday just a few week's after suffering a shoulder injury.
However the Daily Telegraph in Australia is reporting that Kiwi officials are awaiting an insurance premium quote from London, but if it is too high, then he may be dropped.
Wests Tigers are sending head trainer Andrew Leeds to the Gold Coast on Wednesday to check Marshall's troublesome shoulder.
NZRL general manager Peter Cordtz says because Marshall has a pre-existing problem, he'll have "a loaded premium".
Cordtz would not be drawn on how much they are prepared to pay to have Marshall in the side.
