Bartercard Cups nothing compared to premier league competition in Australia but there must be a few lingering around the Bartercard competition that can play 1st grade?? Prime example Patrick Ah Van? I think Sala Fa'alogo could easily make the 1st grade transition with a little fine tuning. How do u all think can do it? What do u you all think?? Dallas Rennie from Wellington?

There are a few, but to be honest, there is probably
more kiwis playing Flegg and PL in NSW who
would slot straight in, without nuturing.

BC is not quite there as a spring board, compared
to the Aussie comps.

Cheers

Isn't it in the best interest for NZRL and the Warriors for these guys to stay in the BC. I think if the Warriors turned out a Reserve Grade team then the BC would be even more valueble.

The barter cup is getting more important for the aussie clubs which is good in the long term for the warriors as kids know they won't have to wait behind one club to get a start. Therefore more oppurtunities, more kids, more jk's to pick from.
I just hope one day the bc cup will be as good as preimer league, a 2nd team in nz would definitly help.

Dallas Rennie was a member of the Warriors Fulltime squad in 2003 before being released to join Manly. Couldn't crack first grade in his time over the Tasman either, spent alot of time on the Premier League bench.

Tame Tupou with the Brocos was one that almost jump straight from the BC to the NRL and yes Dallas is still playing and playing well in the BC. It should be good this Monday Night League he's lined up to partner Simon Mannering in the 2nd row for the Wellington Orcas against big George Tuakura and Cooper Vuna of the Tamaki Leopards.
