Considering the Warriors would have one of the lowest percentage of opposition fans per game thats a pretty good number.

Dragons, Broncos and Knights are the only three teams with a higher attendance average at home too.

Make another GF this year and we're gonna need a bigger Stadium.

From memory the club has been trying to achieve an average crowd of seventeen / eighteen odd thousand there abouts for as long as i can remember.

This is an amazing. I don't think they will want to rest on their Laurels now either, i Imagine they have adjusted that figure and set new targets for the future

The fans are doing their part, the rest is entirely up to the team.

Bad weather at this time of year kills crowds in Sydney.

However, if you look at how total NRL attendances have been tracking over the last 10 years, the game is in good health https://stats.rleague.com/rl/crowds/summary.html
Gallop was at the head of all this growth, I hope they haven't flicked the Architect for the sake of a few million extra on a T.V...deal......Good CEO's are worth at least that and more to a long term business.

Compare our 20,000 a game with the following home attendance averages for the Super 15 from Wikipedia;

Hurricanes - 13,497
Blues - 18,537
Chiefs - 14,397
Highlanders - 16,548
Crusaders - 17,166

And I would take the Blues, highlanders and Crusaders crowds with a pinch of salt too (too many of them end in an even thousand or five hundred!)

Eden Park with Ten thousand on a Rainy winters Night would be worse than buying a hot dog that Gus has been handling in a Caravan outside Panthers Stadium.

Another thing to consider is that the Super 15 teams only have 8 home games this year, as opposed to 12 in the NRL, so to match our current agregate attendance they would need to be pulling an avergae of 30,000 a game.

havent they linked poor crowd attendance to an oversaturation of games on TV?

also remember that there are 3 teams that all pull from the same pool of potential fans - the blues, nsh and the chiefs

Amazing support for the eels considering their position on the table, averaging more than the table topping Storm.

On top of our great numbers at the games this season lets not forget that our membership numbers are also very healthy.

Melbourne really suffer from being in AFL country.

Why is Manly so badly supported (shit stadium?)
Because they ponce around in their coastal palaces standing on the balcony watching the game on their 60 inch surround sound in their bath robes with a gin & tonic in one hand and the remote in the other.
