Internationals Anzac Test

OMG

OMG

My team at the moment, the utility and Captain are about the only positions where the form is questionable, everybody else picks themselves on current form. Lima, Bromwhich,JWH,Moa,Taupau are in great form and Mutts has been ok, Harris has been a standout and probably should be starting ahead of Mannering with his form. There has to be a utility Johnson is only just piping TL and there is no one else. Hoffman goes hard where ever he plays, so Locke looks next to no chance.

1.Whare
2.Nightingale
3.Matai
4.SKD
5.Hoffman
6.Foran
7.Marshall
8.Matulino
9.Luke
10.JWH
11.Mannering LOL he is going to have some Gallen like performances before then or someone is going to look foolish.
12.SBW
13. Smith

14. Johnson/Leuluai it will be one of them
15. Lima /McKendry/Taupau/Fa'alogo
16. Bromwhich /Moa/Setu
17. Harris /Taumalolo/FPN/Eastwood/Harrison/Proctor/Horo/Halatau

Starting team I agree. Very fair comment on Mannering too. If he weren't captain, he wouldn't be selected.

Bench for me would be:

14. Fien (more as a hooker replacement. Don't think Shaun Johnson or TL deserve to be playing test league currently)
15. Eastwood
16. Proctor
17. Sika Manu

Fien has retired from rep footy
Shaun Johnson has been indifferent IMO, he has done some very good things with the bad and it is unfair too judge him or TL with a pack playing the way they are. 4 halves to chose from and 1 isn't available.
We will run a 4 prop rotation and Bromwhich will be there, unsure of the other really, all named are in good form.

Neither does Fien bro! And he has brainfarts under heavy pressure.

TL usually does the black jersey proud doesn't he?

I don't get the love for this guy...but that's just me.

Isn't there anybody else?

TL does.

SKD is going alright at the moment and with Inu's month or so, lets hope Hurrell starts getting some clean ball, with the right team around him he won't have to worry about defence.

I hope no Warriors take the Field for New Zealand bar Mannering and Matulino

Don't want the Infection to spread to my beloved kiwis.

Mannering should get in based on Test Form as an Incumbent. When you've played well for your country you get first dibs on the next go around imo...irrespective of club form.

Bring Crap club form to Rep games and your gone tho....

Here's hoping they select Williams at center to replace Inu / SKD if Matai is forgiven by Kearney

I'd play Glenn ahead of skd- suspect hands and defence. Pretty similar side to omg

1.Whare

10.Bromwhich- mean player
11.Mannering .
12.SBW
13. Smith

10. Matulino
11. Harris
12. Glenn (Capt)
13. Smith

14. JWH
15. Eastwood
16. Taumalolo
17. Whare

I forgets about him, agree with Defence there a very good right centre possibility, but would seriously love to see Kon unleashed, he is a weapon that would see twice as much ball at any other club and not off the dummy half.

EDIT: I keep changing my team lol!

1. Hoffman
2. Tuivasa-Sheck
3. Whare
4. Beale
5. Duffie
6. Foran
7. Johnson
8. Matulino
9. Luke
10. JWH
11. Glenn
12. SBW
13. Smith

14. Marshall
15. Bromwhich
16. Taumalolo

Hurrell should play for Tonga...And on form id doubt he will make Tonga....any suggestion he should be near a kiwi jersey is straight dumb

Is Matai still available for internationals? didnt he make himself unavailable last year?

looking at these team lists NZ is really struggling for class centres, most of them are makeshift. Always thought it was the hardest position to play, in rugby aswell

He wants to play for te Kiwis, IMO Hurrell is a tackle breaking weapon playing in a poor performing team, it's almost ridiculous that one of our strike weapons is stuck outside people that don't know how to use or protect him effectively, my only Elliot gripe. Hurrell is learning very little playing with these fullas at the moment, if they get their act together Hurrell will be the attacking weapon we know he can be and will be an easy pick for Kearney. It all hinges on form but in form Hurrell is up there with the best right centres attack wise.

I don't think his defense is up to international standard, it's probably not quite up to NRL standards either, but like you said, his attack is more than there already...and he should most definitely play league for NZ. Maybe if rugby league officials in the islands stopped pocketing the money the IRL gives them, and show some real professionalism, they might get some top quality youngsters choosing to play for them.

I'm starting to think along the lines of using the Anzac test as a way of securing these young players who are eligible for the Kiwi's first, and as a serious test match second.....of course they should still try to win, but getting these kids international allegiances sewn up in this one off test that we always lose anyway.

Give it up, Konrad isnt a Kiwis asshole! Who gives a crap about his ability to break tackles if he cant make tackles. He's barely hanging on to his club spot and doesnt stand a snowflakes chance in hell of making the Kiwis team...

I live in hope that the miracle happens, if Kon doesn't start playing well, neither does the Team and they will be smashing records, but none you want.
Plenty of average tackling centres budd plenty, Is SKD or Inu that more magnificent defensively, if any it would be barely, even Inglis isn't a rock and has made some astoundingly bad reads in his day.
