General ANZAC Commentators

Ropo and Costigan are doing the call for the ANZAC. We should have the option for either them or the aussie callers so mail league@skytv.co.nz and hit them up.

I would rather watch it with the sound off than listen to those pathetic idiots stuff it up.

Costo I can put up with, but that other stuttering fool is a real pain in the @ss. I'll be at some sports bar in Rotorua getting rowdy and probably wont hear the commentary anyway.

Home or Away I still prefer the Aussie commentators.

Id have the kiwi commentators over the british any day. They are so bias it isnt funny. Hence why i love that the tri nations is over here this year .

I dont want to start flaming but I have no idea how Ropati keeps his job. The others apart from Halligan are bad, but Ropati takes the cake. In one unpunctuated blathering speal last week I heard him use the wrong tense twice, pause in all the wrong places, use two words that dont exist and then finish halfway through a point he was trying to make because he had tongue tied himself.
Myself and all my mates who follow league are in constant awe of Ropatis ineptitude, apart from being unable to verbalise his ideas and comments, his ideas and comments are often terrible. That is if you can decipher what is is trying to get out.

Some of the other commentators that often commentate one of the sunday games on fox. Gosh they annoy me...i often mute the tv when they start to talk crap and swear at them :lol:

Really? I actually think it's quite the opposite. He's anti-kiwi's, i've heard him say numerous derogative things about kiwi players, on the sunday footy show he scripted a team of made up names (making fun of polynesian names) and he threw a tantrum when the kiwis won the tri-nations. Sterlo is the most un-biased in the ch9 team i think. has even said Stacey Jones was the best halfback in the game for years.

Ive heard Vossy say horrible things too about the Warriors but I think most of them have at some stage or rather.

At least we are getting coverage of the game even if we do have to put up with Costo and the sky clowns. You could always put on the radio if you get that upset

I dont mind too much who commentates. As long as I can see the picture, nothing bothers me.
Time to think of the deaf and the blind. How would you like to be in their shoes.

the thing that rattles my chain is the way ropo changes when its going to oz. he sounds really dumb when its shown only here but he really outdoes himself when its beamed across the creek.

i would hate to be deaf and blind but i,d hate to have no fingers even worse. i,d have nothing to poke in my ears when costo and wopo are shouting out of the telly at me.

we deserve better than that. we pay for a service which we are not getting.

Meh tbh they dont annoy me that much. The only commentator who really annoys me is gus, and those commentators on the sunday afternoon for fox.
