Over the past year that I've been on this forum I always find most infuriting (more so than the Warriors) are several fans on here (and I won't name names). I'm not saying they are not entitled to their own opinions (they are of course), but what I am tired of hearing every single time I'm on here you've got people acting like football brain know it alls.
Yes it's very easy to be able to sit at your computer, read the newspapaer and watch the game on tv and start critisting every little thing the players do wrong.
Eg: the way Fien's got bad options...etc....
On and on this sort of thing drags on.
I read earlier in this forum, some one was saying why this place was suddenly so quite. I thought about that, then I read through all the topics being discussed and I realised why I was reading more threads then positing was because there was nothing to talk about. It was all the same old thing! Eg:
"Who should/shouldn't be dropped", "Which player has to play halfback"...and the rest of it.
Its easy to be critical, it's easy to say you want 'so and so' out or playing in particular spot' or as I've found the most common words:
"If it was me..."
You guys are neither right or wrong but some of you have forgoten to draw the line between reality and professional sports. You aren't in the position to make the changes, yes you are in a position to state what you like or don't like but don't do it so over the top. It is appauling to have fellow fans doing this, doing this one-eyed narrow minded train of thought.
"What about the realist fans?" you might ask. A realist fan accepts when you are beaten and accepts things as it is because it is far beyond their own control.
So the question remains:
Are you a diehard that wants absolute perfection?
Are you a diehard fan that accepts the reality of professional sport?
