General All Your Beers Are Pathetic. Kronenbourg Ftw

Nahz

a tad off topic, but anyone had an eye on young David Hala coming off the bench for the Broncos this year?....think theres something special in this bloke thats slowly being revealed...Beast & Boss Mode![DOUBLEPOST=1372221958][/DOUBLEPOST]
Dane Neilson revealed that he will watch the Origin tonight with a slab of Lion red and a Carton of Cigarettes

He has invited Nobby over ( Locke is a passionate NSW fan ) and Matt Elliots daughter will round off the Quartet with Danes Missus

Well done Dane for having the common sense to invite male company that is guaranteed safe around the coaches young daughter.

Lion Red????...lost all respect for the bloke now

Yeah, never could work out how the cats squatted on top of Lion Red bottles to fill them up.

To all of you guys insulting Lion Red - that's fine, you're obviously not man enough to drink it ;) and for every one you don't drink, one more for me ;)

(ironically I used to work for Heineken and I prefer Lion Red - how very Northland of me).

Fullers London Pride - available at New World - serve at a similar tempreture to red wine

Shouldn't take the piss out of Lion Red guys - it needs all the flavour it can get.

Guinness comes first, everything else is a lesser drink, although I will lower myself to a decent lager (Grolsch, maybe Stella) or Monteiths Black, which is farking nice.

Grolsh and Stella - aka wife beater - are only drunk by Essex boys who's idea of sophistication is to buy the most expensive lager in the shop.

On a winter's night, try a room tempreture London Pride, Spitfire or Winter Warmer.

Some New Zealand real ale is very good, although the retailers have to get our if the habit of serving it too cold in winter.

A cold boddingtons after a hard days work on nice warm night, then off to the bozzer with ya pals.find it quite hard to grasp when you say have your beer at room temp in winter when your kegs are kept in the cellar wich is hovering around freezing.so does that mean you have to wait for that horrible London pride to sit for 20 minutes before you drink it

Real ale should be drank at a similar tempreture to red wine.

Boddingtons isn't real ale anymore, they sold out in the 1990s.

Emerson's make some pretty tasty traditional (English) beers... not cheap, but definitely tasty.

Tui is my favourite summer drink, particularly as it's something nice to sip on which won't get you outrageously drunk... even if you nail a couple of dozen haha.

In winter I prefer red wine or whiskey (Jameson's what!) but I do like Kronenbourg... nice thread title btw ;) ;).

Liqueur-wise, Opel Nera is my potion of manic death.

But as a true Kiwi, I will drink (excessively) anything you put in front of me. Except Speights and anything with Lion, DB, Brown or Red in the title.

Oh! And I LOVE alcoholic ginger beers!!!!! Ranga, Stones (also a nice ginger wine), etc...
