One of best memories from days gone by was the "Ali" shout that went up for him when a scored after only being of the field for a few minutes in a finals game against the Raiders - was a magic moment!!!It would be electric from the moment his name is announced during warmup.
People would lose their shit if he pops out a try assisting offload.

I don't know, I really don't. I mean, I'm not even living in New Zealand any more, and I have no Kiwi or Māori or Pacifika roots. But it still does my heart good, thinking about this. That the club has signed a great, great player who has played his heart out over the years and who is held in seriously high regard, with the greatest respect, by the New Zealand rugby league community, but who is 36 years old. And, *and*, is being very seriously considered for some First Grade time.
Sorry mate but disagree, is Cappy going to say that he is too old and has no chance, people will go ballistic if he did. Worst case scenario is a long run of injuries to 2nd rowers and he might get a run. No Coach worth his salt is going to paint himself into a corner like that.
Now if Ali had asked Watson to do the same honestly he would have written:"I didn't really know where the meeting was going," recalled Lauitiiti. "There were all sorts of stories and analogies being talked about."
Watson then asked the 24-year-old to list his priorities in life. On a whiteboard, Lauitiiti wrote family and religion at the top, with the Warriors underneath.
"He wasn't happy with that," Lauitiiti said. "I said things I probably shouldn't have said. I didn't say anything nasty or anything, but I didn't respond the way they wanted me to.
This tard McFappy likes to use only 3 of his interchanges any way,
Why not do the League world a favour and put Lauitiiti on the bench against the Roosters in our heritage round.
Throw him on for 15min, let him go in the record books as the oldest player ever, and give him the proper Mt Smart farewell he deserves.
