Firstly... beating West Tigers... as the young groovy people in NZ say awesome! :D

Secondly, I hope this helps the Warriors to kick on and win more outside of Auckland. I was on holiday in New Zealand when it was decided to deduct 4 points :? and also just missed out on a pre-season friendly, so am watching via skysport. Enjoyed today, especially when most NRL shirts sold in Leeds and Castleford are for West Tigers, managed to buy a training shirt while on holiday so wore it today with pride :)

Good luck for rest of season

Thanks for the kind thoughts there LeedsUK. Unfortunately we have some negative posters on this forum that will pick holes no matter what.

I take it your a Saints fan?

Well am torn between Leeds Rhinos and Castleford Tigers! Not from Leeds so I can take neutral stance.

Ahhhh, a positive thread with nothing but positive responses!! Gotta LIKE it!! :D

Awesome LeedsUK I like being called young and groovy :)

Must say I'm enjoying the ESL games this season except for a couple of blowouts in the last round.
Thanks for your positive comments as well ;)

 Its a forum to debate in isn't it? You honestly thought it was perfect? Perfect from the Warriors is 68-10 over the Eagles, or 42-0 over the Knights, or the display put on Brisbane in Brisbane in 2003, or giving the Panthers a hiding in 2001. 26-10 is a good win, but certainly, far from the peaks the club can achieve and certainly the coaching staff will have their feet firmly rooted to the ground. Round 3, plenty of time to go, plenty of time to develop yet. A great improvement from the previous weeks granted, but those displays weren't that good.

Good to see we have 'worldly' support, welcome LeedsUK.

your nick has me scratching the head.

LeedsUK,, does this mean its Leeds in the UK or leeds suk ? :)

Not that would be telling :p I know it may seem a bit stange someone on the other side of the world saying something positive without fully knowing the ins and outs of a club without being there. But Iknow things have been tough for the Warriors and it was great to see them pull the wool over the eyes of the Tigers (sorry no pun intended).

Seeing NZ win Tri nations last year I can see the talent NZ have to offer, wish that could mean Warriors would trounce a few more Aussies

Have a question though, out of current National team, what is percentage of Home/Aussie based players to those in Europe, well England, make that the North of England???

Ahhh, so it`s the old "common enemy" bond... works for ME!!

Yes indeed... you don't need to guess who I was shouting for in Tri-nations final

Well live in a few places in and around Leeds, places like Morley and Kippax... now moved to te sunny delights of castleford... maybe I need a change of nickname :p

I used to live at Rodley for a short time.
Leeds is a great place - good pubs, friendly people, close to some great spots such as Nth. Yorkshire. For me it was 'hard' to live there as the weather was bleak, it got dark early in the winter, work was not as available as was it was in London.
My wife's family were from there so it'll always be a special place to me.
I never made it to 'Cas though. I worked with a girl from there who was a fanitical supporter of 'Cas.

Here I am again!!! Missed NRL show on sky on Sunday morning (thats British supposed summer time)... 22-26! Away from home! 2nd win and 2nd away win! Nearly fainted... good on ya Warriors :D
