I don't know the whole story, but Michael Moore was a well known person to the melbourne storm I think. and a few years ago while in NZ he tragically passed away. the trohpy as I can understand is something that was brought in as like a memory of him? As I said I don't know the whole story to this. So yeah whenever the Warriors and Storm are playing each other, that little trophy is added insentive I guess.
I guess you could say it's like the ANZAC game every year between the Drags and Roosters

Michael Moore was affiliated with the Melbourne Storm, although I'm not too sure how. When the Storm played the Warriors in Auckland a few years ago, he and a few other staff went out for a drink. Moore, unfortunately, fell into the Auckland harbour and drowned. I don't know the details outside of that, but that's why it's called the Michael Moore Trophy, and that's why it's only ever on the line when the Storm and the Warriors play against each other.

FFS he isnt my boyfriend lol. Although. According to my brother he is 1 of my many..others include Tana Umaga. LOL.

Yea. I was starting to feel left out lol. No trophies in the cabinet. But we got one now and we got it from the minor premiers the storm, so for that i give a big....
