The big signings will be Queenslanderssurely anyone with a name (Manu) just sticks around till 2023 and signs with Bennet and new club as the face of a new franchise
Depends how much manu wants to play playoff rugby leaguesurely anyone with a name (Manu) just sticks around till 2023 and signs with Bennet and new club as the face of a new franchise
Addin Fonua-Blake, Lodge, Evans, Walsh… POS isn’t afraid to sign players with a bit of character… Leilua fits this category.Definitely a Warriors signing from past days.
You can write what ever novel you want about Joey leilua but he is a lazy and is not what the warriors need, I would play Pompey over him any day of the week!Addin Fonua-Blake, Lodge, Evans, Walsh… POS isn’t afraid to sign players with a bit of character… Leilua fits this category.
Arguably you get them cheap knowing you have leverage over them as ‘a club willing to give them a chance’. Even Ash Taylor fits into the ‘needs to change their behaviour’ camp.
With this strategy we need a really strong professional environment, with standards and be prepared to kick the ones that don’t pull the line (Evans) to make an example of what happens to those that err…
A strategy with a lot of risk but you build a talented squad with a lot of upside for cheap. If we have the systems and support to keep them all ‘paddling in the same direction’ we could be lethal. Potential to implode though…

I think Bunty has more minutes in him that he gets ......thats just the rotation time coach gives him. and Ben Murdoch-Masila is there for impact. Dont think a 30 year old centre with questionable commitment is what we need.no more lazier than our side look at our forwards he can do bigger minutes than bunty n Ben Murdoch-Masila n leson
It’s a no from me. Tigers signed him on the cheap and he still managed to fuck up at every opportunity.Addin Fonua-Blake, Lodge, Evans, Walsh… POS isn’t afraid to sign players with a bit of character… Leilua fits this category.

Yeah I think he is too risky. Addin Fonua-Blake and Lodge were top tier props. Evans had been a solid rotation forward at para and he saved the dumb shit till he got to us. Walsh had big wraps as a kid with potential. Lielua will be 30 next year, a hot head, over weight, unfit and defensively erratic. Great on attack some days...but too many negatives to make him an option....even on the minimum.Addin Fonua-Blake, Lodge, Evans, Walsh… POS isn’t afraid to sign players with a bit of character… Leilua fits this category.

That's right, sticky could see the writing on the wall, Tigers were just stupid enough to sign him in the first place. It’s a no from me. Tigers signed him on the cheap and he still managed to fuck up at every opportunity.
He cost them that 2019 final by holding the pass, when Rapana would have gone in. Apparently his asking price was crazy, also his brother Luciano’s was up there too. I think the tigers have re signed Luciano for about $570k a season. That's right, sticky could see the writing on the wall, Tigers were just stupid enough to sign him in the first place.
I was not necessarily pushing Leilua. My novel was about the strategy 🤣You can write what ever novel you want about Joey leilua but he is a lazy and is not what the warriors need, I would play Pompey over him any day of the week!
I disagree with that.No risk on a train and trial though…
Big developmentBrandon Smith going to market. Could be good for our pursuit of Joseph Manu with the roosters apparently showing interest.
