I would go $750k for manu and use him as back up half and back up full back and premier centre
We all know Shaun Johnson is not an iron man and will miss 7 to 8 games next year
If Kodi fills in for him those will be 7 to 8 losses
And Walsh seems to like a flaunt with the judiciary and will miss some matches for origin duty
Manu would get maybe 12 to 18 games in a spine position for the warriors per season guaranteed

Throw money at him :)
Paper bags whatever

edit
The spine is important
We can’t afford to have a low budget back up spine reserve

Had Dallin Watene-Zelezniak been getting as physically dominated at the dogs as he has the last couple of weeeks? Am hoping he comes right. Need to see some dramatic improvement or it could be a poor signing
I thought Dallin Watene-Zelezniak has been going ok. Not a superstar yet but his running has that trademark intensity, He does take some stopping. With some more time in the team and getting another half gap he could be something special.

Dunno Bruce. Brown said they will be assessing him to see if they think he can become a first grader.
I want him to make it. As nice as some of these signings are, I get most enjoyment watching hometown lads break through and do well.
I have no doubt about his skill and physical attributes...has he the balls that Addin Fonua-Blake possesses?

Geez with some of the never ending run ups we've given absolute plod players. You'd hope they arn't being too hasty expecting the world of a 1 game rookie.

Hope he kills it, liked what I saw in the first game. Appeared to have a decent motor for a debutant.

Otukolo looked promising on the brief stint he had. That was mainly defensive work but he looked to be making his tackles, assessing how long he could hold the opposition down for and seeing if his team mates were getting on side so he could release. He only really got to move the ball on from dummy half.

I said at the time he deserved another stint. Instead they gave the make shift dummy half in Tevaga more time. A bit disappointed in the weeks since he hasn't been given another opportunity as there were weeks where we were short or Egan was looking worn out.

If they are reviewing him over the next few weeks hopefully they give him some big minutes. Egan is out so they might as well use our remaining specialist as much as possible.

I mentioned during the game last week that I had to laugh at Dallin Watene-Zelezniak and Montoya getting dragged back half the field length when bringing the ball back. That never happened to big ken lol..but they got better as the game wore on. To be fair to Dallin he was playing fullback for the dogs, more touches, different lines and angles he needed to run. And he's actually still punching out well over 120m per game for us. He'll get better.

What I’ve like about Dallin Watene-Zelezniak is the speed off the mark. We have be spoiled having 110kg winger bringing the ball out of the back field. Need to be more savvy about how our smaller quicker guys are coming out our end.

A couple of his defensive plays were outstanding and something that Ken wouldn’t have been able to provide. He also had 7 tackle busts and 172m so was more than solid

Depends if a team thinks he is a Premier FB, $750k would be cheap.

The guy is a beast for both the Chooks and the Kiwis where he is playing with rock stars around him. How would he go here? My guess is a better version of Peta Hiku.
Let’s go with him being a rich mans peta hiku

hiku went very well at fullback for the warriors the couple of times he played there

I have a memory of hiku playing stand off for us once and being quite mediocre and invisible there

If a rich mans hiku then would say he would be an average Standoff and a very good fullback

If my crude analysis and extrapolation is in anyway accurate then he would make a decent member of a spine squad for a team
I don’t think you can just pick two halves and a great fullback and then a Serviceable back up like warriors teams of old with mason lino as back up half
The spine is so key that we need a star back up
or at least a very good back up
Let’s go all in on spine and spine depth rather than how we have loaded up on outside back salaries in the past
